PLEDGE

In 2023, the Arizona Coalition for Change launched the “Clean Energy, Clear Lungs” campaign which aims to promote clean energy practices and reduce air pollution in Black and Brown communities to improve lung health and reduce asthma rates.

The objectives of this initiative are to educate community members on the impacts of air pollution on lung health, promote the adoption of clean energy practices, and advocate for policies that reduce air pollution in communities of color.

We have identified significant findings highlighting asthma disparities, the impacts of climate change, and environmental factors affecting the black population. To combat these disparities, we recommend reducing pollution, promoting sustainable transportation, providing accessible and culturally appropriate asthma care, and advocating for environmental justice. By signing this pledge, you contribute to creating healthier and more equitable communities in Arizona.
